Iris Xia is a second-year master’s student in Computer Science at Yale University, where she focuses on 3D perception, particularly depth completion and sensor fusion that integrates camera data with complementary sensing for robust scene understanding. Her prior research includes work in the Fair and Explainable Decision Making (FED) Lab at UMass Amherst on fair machine learning and convex optimization, as well as projects in medical image segmentation and medical calculation and reasoning.
